I am currently teaching Italian on both a 1:1 basis as well as small group lessons to a wide range of ages from 5 years old up to adults well into their golden years. Similarly the levels vary, with many that I teach starting as complete beginners whilst some want a more conversational boost to their existing knowledge. Lessons and courses are designed especially for each individual or group according to specific needs and standards to ensure that personal goals can be met.
My own passion for Italian began as a teenager whilst being lucky enough to study history of art in Florence and Venice. My passion for languages continued and I gained a Master of Arts in Italian & French at university. As a student I was awarded the top Italian scholarship, and having also studied at the university of Florence and lived and worked in Rome, Florence and the south of Italy, I am able to develop your understanding of the culture and customs as well as the Italian language.
Most importantly I enjoy teaching (and have a PGCE – PostGradCertificate in Education) and sharing my passion for Italian so if you’ve been thinking about learning Italian but never got around to it, why not start now.
